English Translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever has vacant land, let him cultivate it. If he does not cultivate it himself, let him give it to someone else (as a favor, without rent) so that he may cultivate it." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 972]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جس کے پاس زمین خالی ہو تو وہ اس میں کاشتکاری کرے۔ اگر خود نہ کرے تو اور کسی کو دے (بطور رعایت بلا کرایہ) کہ وہ اس میں کاشتکاری کرے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 972]
