English Translation

Narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Horses are for three: for one man they are a reward, for another they are a shield, and for another they are a burden. As for the one for whom they are a reward, it is a man who ties his horse in the cause of Allah and extends its rope in a pasture or garden — whatever it eats or drinks in that pasture or garden will be recorded as good deeds for him."
