English Translation
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): A man performed li'an during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and then he (peace be upon him) separated the two of them and attributed the child's lineage to the mother. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 869]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہایک مرد نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے دور میں لعان کیا تو پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دونوں کے درمیان جدائی کر دی اور بچے کا نسب ماں سے لگا دیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 869]
