English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever believes in Allah the Exalted and the Last Day, it is necessary for him, when any matter arises, to say something good or remain silent. And treat women well, for she was created from a rib, and the most crooked part of the rib is the uppermost. So if you try to straighten it, you will break it, and if you leave it as it is, it will remain crooked. Treat women well." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 844]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو کوئی اللہ تعالیٰ پر اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہو اس کے لئے ضروری ہے کہ جب کوئی امر پیش آئے تو اچھی بات کہے یا چپ رہے اور عورتوں سے خیرخواہی کرو، اس لئے کہ وہ پسلی سے پیدا کی گئی ہے اور پسلی میں اونچی پسلی سب سے زیادہ ٹیڑھی ہے۔ پھر اگر تو اسے سیدھا کرنے لگا تو توڑ دے گا اور اگر یوں ہی چھوڑ دیا تو وہ ہمیشہ ٹیڑھی رہے گی، عورتوں کی خیرخواہی کرو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 844]
