English Translation
Narrated Ibn al-Munkadir: He heard Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Jewish people used to claim that if a man had intercourse with his wife from behind, the child would be born cross-eyed (seeing one thing as two). Upon this, this verse was revealed: "Your women are a tilth for you, so come to your tilth however you wish" (al-Baqarah: 223) (meaning: come to the tilth and not to the well; and the tilth is that place where, if seed is sown, it grows — not the place where seed is wasted). Urdu Translation
ابن المنکدر سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا وہ کہتے تھے کہ یہودی لوگوں کا قول تھا کہ جو مرد جماع کرے اپنی عورت سے قبل میں پیچھے ہو کر تو لڑکا بھینگا پیدا ہوتا ہے، (کہ ایک چیز کو دو دیکھتا ہے) اس پر یہ آیت اتری کہ”عورتیں تمہاری کھیتی ہیں، پس اپنی کھیتی میں جس طرف سے چاہو آؤ“(البقرہ: 223) (یعنی آؤ کھیتی میں اور کنوئیں میں نہ جاؤ اور کھیتی وہی ہے جہاں بیج ڈالے تو اگے نہ وہ جگہ جہاں بیج ضائع ہو)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 829]
