English Translation
Narrated Rabi' bin Sabra: His father (may Allah be pleased with him) was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the expedition of the Conquest of Mecca, and he said: We stayed in Mecca for fifteen—that is, thirty days counting night and day together—and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) permitted us to contract mut'a with women. So I and a man of my people both set out, and I was superior in good looks, while he was close to being ugly. And each of us had a cloak; my cloak was old and worn, and my cousin's cloak was new and fresh. So when we reached the lower or upper part of Mecca, a woman met us, like a young she-camel, with a long, slender neck (that is, a young, beautiful woman). So we said to her, "Do you have any desire that one of us should contract mut'a with you?" She said, "What will you give?" So each of us spread out his cloak, and she began to look toward the two of them. And my companion was gazing at her (and he gazed at her from her head to her hips), and he said, "Her cloak is old, and my cloak is new and fresh." But she (the woman) said two or three times, "There is no objection to his cloak." So I contracted mut'a with her. Then I did not leave that woman until the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) forbade mut'a.
Urdu Translation
ربیع بن سبرہ سے روایت ہے کہان کے والد رضی اللہ عنہ غزوہ فتح مکہ میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہمراہ تھے اور کہا کہ ہم مکہ میں پندرہ یعنی رات اور دن ملا کر تیس دن ٹھہرے تو ہمیں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے عورتوں سے متعہ کرنے کی اجازت دی پس میں اور میری قوم کا ایک شخص دونوں نکلے اور میں اس سے خوبصورتی میں زیادہ تھا اور وہ بدصورتی کے قریب تھا اور ہم میں سے ہر ایک کے پاس چادر تھی اور میری چادر پرانی تھی اور میرے ابن عم کی چادر نئی اور تازہ تھی۔ یہاں تک کہ جب ہم مکہ کے نیچے یا اوپر کی جانب میں پہنچے تو ہمیں ایک عورت ملی جیسے جوان اونٹنی ہوتی ہے، صراحی دار گردن والی (یعنی جوان خوبصورت عورت) پس ہم نے اس سے کہا کہ کیا تجھے رغبت ہے کہ ہم میں سے کوئی تجھ سے متعہ کرے؟ اس نے کہا کہ تم لوگ کیا دو گے؟ تو ہم میں سے ہر ایک نے اپنی چادر پھیلائی تو وہ دونوں کی طرف دیکھنے لگی۔ اور میرا رفیق اس کو گھورتا تھا (اور اس کے سر سے سرین تک گھورتا تھا) اور اس نے کہا کہ ان کی چادر پرانی ہے اور میری چادر نئی اور تازہ ہے۔ تو اس (عورت) نے دو یا تین بار یہ کہا کہ اس کی چادر میں کوئی مضائقہ نہیں۔ غرض میں نے اس سے متعہ کیا۔ پھر میں اس عورت کے پاس سے اس وقت تک نہیں نکلا جب تک رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے متعہ کو حرام نہیں کر دیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 812]
