English Translation
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) returned from armies, or from a small detachment of armies, or from Hajj or 'Umra, then when he reached a mound or a high, stony piece of ground, he would say "Allahu Akbar" three times, then say, "None is worthy of worship except Allah the Exalted, and He has no partner. His is the dominion, and His is all praise, and He has power over all things. And we are those who return, those who repent, those who worship, those who prostrate, and those who devote praise to our Lord. Allah the Exalted made His promise true and aided His servant, and He alone defeated the (disbelievers') armies."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب لشکروں سے یا لشکروں کی چھوٹی جماعت سے یا حج و عمرہ سے لوٹتے تو جب کسی ٹیلہ پر یا اونچی کنکریلی زمین پر پہنچ جاتے، تو تین بار اللہ اکبر کہتے پھر کہتے کہ کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں ہے سوائے اللہ تعالیٰ کے اور اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے اسی کی سلطنت ہے اور اسی کے لئے سب تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے۔ اور ہم لوٹنے والے، رجوع ہونے والے، عبادت کرنے والے، سجدہ کرنے والے اور اپنے رب کی خاص حمد کرنے والے ہیں۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنا وعدہ سچا کیا اور اپنے بندے کی مدد کی اور (کافروں کے) لشکروں کو اسی اکیلے نے شکست دی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 762]
