English Translation
Narrated the Mother of the Believers 'A'isha the Truthful (may Allah be pleased with her): The Mother of the Believers Safiyya bint Huyayy (may Allah be pleased with her) began menstruating after the tawaf al-ifada. So I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He (peace be upon him) said, "Will she (the Mother of the Believers Safiyya, may Allah be pleased with her) detain us in Mecca?" The Mother of the Believers 'A'isha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! She had performed the tawaf al-ifada, then afterward began menstruating." So the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Then let her set out (with us)."
Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہام المؤمنین صفیہ بنت حیی رضی اللہ عنہا طواف افاضہ کے بعد حیض سے ہو گئیں۔ تو میں نے اس کا تذکرہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کیا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ کیا وہ (ام المؤمنین صفیہ رضی اللہ عنہا) ہمیں مکہ میں روک دے گی؟ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! انہوں نے طواف افاضہ کر لیا تھا پھر بعد میں حیض سے ہوئیں ہیں تو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ پھر وہ (ہمارے ساتھ) واپس چلے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 754]
