English Translation
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): A man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), "What kind of clothes may a person in ihram (muhrim) wear?" So he (peace be upon him) said, "Do not wear tunics, nor turbans, nor trousers, nor cloaks with hoods, nor leather socks (khuff), except that one who does not find sandals may wear leather socks, provided he cuts them below the ankles; and do not wear clothes touched with saffron or dyed with wars."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہایک شخص نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے پوچھا کہ محرم کپڑوں کی قسم میں سے کیا (کون سے کپڑے) پہنے؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: نہ کرتے پہنو نہ عمامے باندھو، نہ پاجامے پہنو، نہ باران کوٹ اوڑھو اور نہ موزے پہنو مگر جو چپل نہ پائے وہ موزے اس صورت میں پہن لے کہ ٹخنوں کے نیچے سے کاٹ ڈالے اور نہ ایسے کپڑے پہنو جس میں زعفران لگا ہو یا”ورس“میں رنگا ہوا ہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 678]
