English Translation

Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Let not the call to prayer of Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) nor the vertical whiteness in the sky deceive you from your suhur, until it (the whiteness) spreads out broadly like this." And (the narrator of the hadith) Hammad spread out his hands like this (to the right and left) to demonstrate.
