English Translation
Narrated Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with her): I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him): My mother has come to me and she is averse to the religion (in other narrations it is stated that she is a polytheist). Shall I show her kindness and good treatment? He (peace be upon him) said: "Yes."
Urdu Translation
سیدہ اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتی ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے پوچھا کہ میری ماں آئی ہے اور وہ دین سے بیزار ہے (دوسری روایتوں میں آیا ہے کہ وہ مشرکہ ہے) تو کیا میں اس سے سلوک اور احسان کروں؟ تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ہاں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 531]
