English Translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: When one of you dies, his abode is presented to him morning and evening. If he is of the people of Paradise, then of the people of Paradise, and if he is of the people of Hell, then of the people of Hell. Then it is said: This is your abode, until Allah raises you to it on the Day of Resurrection. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim/Hadith: 490]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: تم میں سے جب کوئی مر جاتا ہے تو صبح و شام اس کے سامنے اس کا ٹھکانہ پیش کیا جاتا ہے۔ اگر جنت والوں میں سے ہے تو جنت والوں میں سے اور جو دوزخ والوں میں سے ہے تو دوزخ والوں میں سے۔ پھر کہا جاتا ہے کہ یہ تیرا ٹھکانہ ہے، یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ تجھے قیامت کے دن اس (ٹھکانے کی) طرف بھیجے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 490]
