English Translation
The Mother of the Believers Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: It was the blessed habit of the Prophet (peace be upon him) that when a strong wind came, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would recite this supplication: "O Allah, I ask You for the good of this wind and the good of what is in it and the good of what it has been sent with. And I seek refuge from its evil and the evil of what is in it and the evil of what has been sent with it." And the Mother of the Believers Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: When clouds and lightning flashed in the sky, his color (from fear) would change, and he would sometimes go out and sometimes come in, and sometimes come forward and sometimes go back. Then if it began to rain, his anxiety would go away. The Mother of the Believers Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I recognized this from his blessed face, so I asked him, and he said: O Aishah! I fear lest it be as the people of Ad saw, that "There is a cloud approaching them," and they said, "This cloud is going to rain upon us" (whereas it was the punishment coming upon them). Urdu Translation
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی عادت مبارکہ تھی کہ جب تیز آندھی آتی تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمیہ دعا پڑھتے”اے اللہ میں اس ہوا کی بہتری اور جو اس کے اندر ہے، اس کی بہتری اور جو اس میں بھیجا گیا ہے اس کی بہتری مانگتا ہوں۔ اور اس کی برائی سے اور جو اس کے اندر ہے، اس کی برائی سے اور جو برائی اس کے ساتھ بھیجی گئی ہے، برائی سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں“۔ اور ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ جب آسمان پر بادل اور بجلی کڑکتی تو (خوف سے) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا رنگ بدل جاتا اور کبھی باہر نکلتے اور کبھی اندر آتے اور کبھی آگے آتے اور کبھی پیچھے جاتے۔ پھر اگر بارش برسنے لگتی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی گھبراہٹ جاتی رہتی۔ ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے اس بات کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے چہرہ مبارک سے پہنچان لیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے پوچھا، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اے عائشہ! میں ڈرتا ہوں کہ کہیں ایسا نہ ہو جیسے عاد کی قوم نے دیکھا کہ”ایک بادل کا ٹکرا ہے جو ان کے آگے آیا ہے کہنے لگے کہ یہ بادل ہم پر برسنے والا ہے“(اور وہ ان پر آنے والا عذاب تھا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 449]
