English Translation
Zir ibn Hubaysh narrated that Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "By the One who split the seed and created the soul, the Prophet (peace be upon him) made a covenant with me that none would love me except a believer, and none would hate me except a hypocrite."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا زر بن حبیش رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہسیدنا علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ قسم ہے اس کی جس نے دانہ چیرا (پھر اس سے گھاس اگائی) اور جان بنائی، رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھ سے عہد کیا تھا کہ مجھ سے سوائے مومن کے کوئی محبت نہیں رکھے گا اور مجھ سے منافق کے علاوہ اور کوئی شخص دشمنی نہیں رکھے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 36]
