English Translation
Narrated Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him): I prayed the Isha prayer with Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), and in it he recited "Idha as-sama'un shaqqat" (the chapter) and made a prostration in it. (After the prayer) I said, "What is this prostration you made?" He said, "I made this prostration behind the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and I will keep making it until I meet him (i.e., I will keep doing it all my life)." Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابورافع رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ عشاء کی نماز پڑھی اور اس میں”اذا السماء انشقت“(سورت) تلاوت کی اور اس میں سجدہ کیا۔ (نماز کے بعد) میں نے کہا کہ یہ سجدہ تم نے کیسا کیا؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے تو یہ سجدہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پیچھے کیا ہے اور میں اس کو کرتا رہوں گا یہاں تک کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے ملوں۔ (یعنی تاحیات کرتا رہوں گا)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 354]
