English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever, after every prayer, says 'Subhan Allah' thirty-three times, 'Alhamdulillah' thirty-three times, and 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-three times, that makes ninety-nine phrases, and to complete a hundred he should say once: 'La ilaha illa Allah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu al-mulk wa lahu al-hamd, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir' — meaning, 'There is none worthy of worship except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is all praise, and He has power over all things' — his sins will be forgiven even if they are as much as the foam of the sea (i.e., beyond count)." Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: جو شخص ہر نماز کے بعد ((سبحان اللہ)) 33 بار اور ((الحمدللہ)) 33 بار اور ((اللہ اکبر)) 33 بار کہے تو یہ ننانوے کلمے ہوں گے اور پورے 100 یوں کرے کہ ایک بار یوں پڑھے ((”لا الٰہ الا اﷲ وحدہ لا شریک لہ لہ الملک ولہ الحمد وھو علی کل شئٍ قدیر“)) یعنی”اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، اسی کی سلطنت ہے اور اسی کے لئے سب تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے“تو اس کے گناہ بخشے جاتے ہیں اگرچہ دریا کے جھاگ کے برابر (یعنی بےحد) ہوں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 314]
