English Translation
Narrated Warrad, who was the freed slave of al-Mughirah bin Shubah (may Allah be pleased with him): Al-Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote to Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) finished the prayer and gave the salam, he would say, "There is no true god except Allah, alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion and to Him is all praise, and He is able to do all things. O Allah, none can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the striving of one who strives does not benefit him before You."
Urdu Translation
وراد، جو سیدنا مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے مولیٰ تھے، کہتے ہیں کہسیدنا مغیرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے سیدنا معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو لکھ کر بھیجا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب نماز پڑھ چکتے اور سلام پھیرتے تو کہتے”کوئی سچا معبود نہیں سوائے اللہ کے، وہ اکیلا ہے اور اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں، سلطنت اسی کی ہے اور اسی کی تعریف ہے اور وہ سب کچھ کر سکتا ہے، یااللہ جو تو دے اسے کوئی روک نہیں سکتا اور جو تو نہ دے اسے کوئی دے نہیں سکتا اور کسی کوشش کرنے والے کی کوشش تیرے آگے فائدہ نہیں دیتی“۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 312]
