English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sat in the prayer, he would place his left foot between his thigh and shin and spread out his right foot, and place his left hand on his left knee and his right hand on his right thigh, and point with his finger.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب نماز میں بیٹھتے تو بائیں پاؤں کو ران اور پنڈلی کے بیچ میں کر لیتے اور داہنا پاؤں بچھاتے اور بایاں ہاتھ بائیں گھٹنے پر رکھتے اور داہنا ہاتھ اپنی داہنی ران پر رکھتے اور انگلی سے اشارہ کرتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 302]
