English Translation
Narrated Abu Said al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) raised his head from bowing, he would say, "O our Lord, all praise is for You alone, filling the heavens and filling the earth and then filling whatever You will after that (that is, praise equal to filling it). You are the One of majesty and worthy of praise. The truest thing a servant has said—and we are all Your servants—(is this): O our Allah! None can withhold what You give, and none can give what You withhold, and the striving of one who strives does not benefit him before You (rather, whatever You will comes to pass)."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو فرماتے کہ”اے ہمارے رب تمام تعریفیں تیرے ہی لئے خاص ہیں، آسمانوں بھر اور زمین بھر اور پھر جو چیز تو چاہے، اس کے بعد (اس کی بھرائی کے برابر تعریف)، تو ہی بزرگی والا اور تعریف کے لائق ہے۔ بہت سچی بات جو بندے نے کہی اور ہم سب تیرے بندے ہیں (وہ بات یہ ہے کہ) اے ہمارے اللہ! جو تو دے، اس کا کوئی روکنے والا نہیں اور جو تو روکے اس کا دینے والا کوئی نہیں، کوشش کرنے والے کی کوشش تیرے سامنے فائدہ نہیں دیتی (بلکہ جو تو چاہے وہی ہوتا ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 296]
