English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): Five signs have already passed, and they are the smoke (dukhan), the grip (lizam), the Romans (Rum), the punishment (batshah), and the moon, that is, the splitting of the moon (shaqq al-qamar). [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 2164]

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہپانچ نشانیاں تو گزر چکیں ہیں اور وہ دخان، لزام، روم، بطشہ اور قمر (یعنی شق القمر) ہیں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2164]
