English Translation
Jabir ibn 'Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "A group of my nation will continue fighting for the truth (against the disbelievers and opponents) until the Day of Resurrection, and that group will remain victorious. Then Jesus, son of Mary (upon them both be peace), will descend, and the imam of that group will say to him (to Jesus, peace be upon him), 'Come, lead us in prayer.' He will say, 'No, some of you are rulers over others. This is the honor which Allah the Exalted has bestowed upon this nation.'"
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ قیامت تک میری امت میں سے ایک گروہ (کافروں اور مخالفوں سے) ہمیشہ حق (بات) پر لڑتا رہے گا، وہ (گروہ) غالب رہے گا۔ پھر عیسیٰ بن مریم علیہما السلام اتریں گے اور اس گروہ کا امام (عیسیٰ علیہ السلام سے) کہے گا کہ آئیے نماز پڑھائیے۔ وہ کہیں گے نہیں، تم میں سے ایک دوسروں پر حاکم رہیں۔ یہ وہ بزرگی ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ اس امت کو عنایت فرمائے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2061]
