English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, no one from this nation — whether Jewish or Christian — hears of me and then dies without believing in what I have been sent with, except that he will be among the people of the Fire."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی جان ہے (میرے اس زمانہ سے قیامت تک) کوئی یہودی یا نصرانی (یا اور کوئی دین والا) میرا حال سنے پھر اس پر ایمان نہ لائے جو کہ میں دے کر بھیجا گیا ہوں (یعنی قرآن و سنت پر) تو وہ جہنم میں جائے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 20]
