English Translation
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went to his bed, he would say: "Praise be to Allah, who fed us and gave us drink, and sufficed us and gave us shelter. How many are those who have none to suffice them and none to shelter them."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہجب رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنے بستر پر جاتے تو فرماتے:”شکر ہے اس اللہ کا جس نے ہمیں کھلایا اور پلایا اور کافی ہوا ہمارے لئے اور ٹھکانہ دیا ہمیں، کتنے لوگ ایسے ہیں جن کے لئے نہ کوئی کفایت کرنے والا ہے اور نہ کوئی ٹھکانہ دینے والا ہے“۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1901]
