English Translation
Narrated Abdullah bin Shihab al-Khawlani: I was a guest of Umm al-Mu'minin Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her). I had a wet dream in my clothes, so I dipped them in water. A slave-girl of Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) saw me and went and told her. The Mother of the Believers sent word to me: "Why did you do this?" I said: "In my sleep I saw what a sleeper sees (that is, a wet dream)." The Mother of the Believers said: "Did you see any trace (of semen) on the clothes?" I said: "No." She said: "Even if you had seen something on the clothes, it would have been enough to wash it. I used to scrape off the dried semen from the clothes of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with my nails."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن شہاب خولانی بیان کرتے ہیں کہمیں ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے ہاں مہمان ٹھہرا۔ مجھے اپنے کپڑوں میں احتلام ہو گیا، تو میں نے ان کو پانی میں ڈبو دیا۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی لونڈی نے مجھے دیکھ لیا، تو اس نے انہیں جا کر بتایا۔ ام المؤمنین نے میری طرف پیغام بھیجا کہ تم نے ایسا کیوں کیا ہے؟ میں نے کہا کہ خواب میں میں نے وہ دیکھا ہے جو سونے والا دیکھتا ہے (یعنی احتلام)۔ ام المؤمنین نے کہا کہ کپڑوں میں تم نے (منی کا) کچھ اثر دیکھا؟ میں نے کہا نہیں۔ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اگر کپڑوں میں تو کچھ دیکھتا تو بھی اس کا دھونا ہی کافی تھا۔ میں تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے کپڑے سے خشک منی کو اپنے ناخنوں سے کھرچ دیا کرتی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 188]
