English Translation
Sayyiduna Farwah bin Nawfal al-Ashja'i (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked the Mother of the Believers 'A'ishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) what supplication the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to make to Allah. She said that he used to say: "O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of the deeds I have done and from the evil of what I have not done."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا فروہ بن نوفل اشجعی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہمیں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماللہ سے کیا دعا کیا کرتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ اے اللہ! میں ان کاموں کی برائی سے جو میں نے کئے ہیں اور ان کی برائی سے جو میں نے نہیں کئے، تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1865]
