English Translation
Narrated Aishah al-Siddiqah, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was called to the funeral of a child who was of the Helpers. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Glad tidings for this one; he is one of the little birds of Paradise, for he did no evil, nor reached the age of doing evil." He (peace be upon him) said, "Or (do you say) something else, O Aishah? Indeed Allah, the Exalted, created people for Paradise while they were still in the loins of their fathers, and created people for Hell while they were still in the loins of their fathers."

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو ایک بچے کے جنازہ پر بلایا گیا جو انصار میں سے تھا۔ میں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! خوشی ہو اس کو یہ تو جنت کی چڑیوں میں سے ایک چڑیا ہو گا، نہ اس نے برائی کی، نہ برائی کی عمر تک پہنچا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اور کچھ کہتی ہے اے عائشہ؟ بیشک اللہ تعالیٰ نے جنت کے لئے لوگوں کو بنایا اور وہ اپنے باپوں کی پشت میں تھے اور جہنم کے لئے لوگوں کو بنایا اور وہ اپنے باپوں کی پشت میں تھے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1855]
