English Translation
Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-As (may Allah be pleased with him): He heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say, "The hearts of the sons of Adam are all as one heart between two of the fingers of Allah, the Exalted; He turns it however He wills." Then he (peace be upon him) said, "O Allah! Turner of hearts! Turn our hearts toward Your obedience."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہانہوں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ آدمیوں کے دل اللہ تعالیٰ کی دو انگلیوں کے درمیان ایک دل کی طرح ہیں، وہ ان کو پھراتا ہے جس طرح چاہتا ہے۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے اللہ! دلوں کو پھیرنے والے! ہمارے دلوں کو اپنی اطاعت پر پھیر دے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1851]
