English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): It was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! Invoke a curse upon the polytheists." He (peace be upon him) said, "I was not sent to curse people, but I was sent as (a cause of) mercy."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے کہا گیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! مشرکوں پر بددعا کیجئے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میں اس لئے نہیں بھیجا گیا کہ لوگوں پر لعنت کروں بلکہ رحمت (کا سبب) بنا کر بھیجا گیا ہوں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1822]
