English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the greatest of lies. And do not eavesdrop on people's conversations, do not spy, do not compete (over worldly matters) (though it is permissible in matters of religion), do not envy, do not bear hatred, do not turn away from one another, and be brothers, O servants of Allah."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: تم بدگمانی سے بچو کیونکہ بدگمانی بڑا جھوٹ ہے اور کسی کی باتوں پر کان مت لگاؤ اور جاسوسی نہ کرو اور (دنیا میں) رشک مت کرو (لیکن دین میں درست ہے) اور حسد نہ کرو اور بغض مت رکھو اور ترک ملاقات مت کرو اور اللہ کے بندو اور (آپس میں) بھائی بھائی بن جاؤ۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1803]
