English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): A man said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have some relatives; I maintain ties with them and they cut me off. I treat them kindly and they treat me badly. I am forbearing toward them and they behave ignorantly toward me." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "If you truly do as you say, then it is as though you are throwing hot ashes upon their faces, and there will always be with you an angel from Allah who will keep you dominant over them as long as you remain in this state."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہایک آدمی نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میرے کچھ رشتہ دار ہیں، میں ان سے تعلق جوڑتا ہوں اور وہ مجھ سے قطع تعلق کرتے ہیں۔ احسان کرتا ہوں اور وہ برائی کرتے ہیں، میں بردباری کرتا ہوں اور وہ جہالت کرتے ہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اگر حقیقت میں تو ایسا ہی کرتا ہے تو ان کے منہ پر جلتی راکھ ڈالتا ہے اور ہمیشہ اللہ کی طرف سے تیرے ساتھ ایک فرشتہ رہے گا جو تمہیں اس وقت تک ان پر غالب رکھے گا جب تک تو اس حالت پر رہے گا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1763]
