English Translation
Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Indeed, the people of the Ash'ari tribe, when they are in need during battle, or the food of their wives and children in Madinah runs low, gather whatever they have in one garment, then divide it equally among themselves. These people are of me and I am of them (that is, I am pleased with them and love such unity).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بیشک اشعری قبیلہ کے لوگ جب لڑائی میں محتاج ہو جاتے ہیں یا مدینہ میں ان کے بیوی بچوں کا کھانا کم ہو جاتا ہے تو جو کچھ ان کے پاس ہوتا ہے اس کو ایک کپڑے میں اکٹھا کرتے ہیں، پھر آپس میں برابر بانٹ لیتے ہیں۔ یہ لوگ میرے ہیں اور میں ان کا ہوں (یعنی میں ان سے راضی ہوں اور ایسے اتفاق کو پسند کرتا ہوں)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1731]
