English Translation
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When this verse was revealed — "Those who believe and do righteous deeds, there is no blame upon them for what they have eaten ..." to the end — the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to me: It has been said to me that you are among those people (that is, among the believers and the doers of righteous deeds).
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہجب یہ آیت نازل ہوئی کہ”جو لوگ ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کئے، ان پر گناہ نہیں اس کا جو کھا چکے ....“آخر تک، تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے مجھ سے کہا کہ مجھے کہا گیا ہے کہ تو ان لوگوں میں سے ہے (یعنی ایمان والوں اور نیک اعمال والوں میں سے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1692]
