English Translation
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I concurred with my Lord in three matters. First, in praying at the Station of Ibrahim (when I gave the opinion, 'O Messenger of Allah, make this place a place of prayer,' and it was revealed thus in the Quran). Second, concerning the veiling of women. And third, concerning the captives of Badr." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1635]

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہعمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں تین باتوں میں اپنے رب کے موافق ہوا۔ ایک مقام ابراہیم میں نماز پڑھنے میں (جب میں نے رائے دی کہ یا رسول اللہ! آپ اس جگہ کو جائے نماز بنائیے تو ویسا ہی قرآن میں اترا) اور دوسرے عورتوں کے پردے کے بارے میں اور تیسرے بدر کے قیدیوں کے بارے میں۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1635]
