English Translation
Narrated Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to mention several of his names to us, and he said, "I am Muhammad (peace be upon him), and Ahmad, and al-Muqaffi (that is, al-Aqib), and al-Hashir, and the Prophet of Repentance, and the Prophet of Mercy (because he brought repentance and mercy with him)." Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنے کئی نام ہم سے بیان کرتے تھے اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ میں محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمہوں اور احمد اور مقفی (یعنی عاقب) اور حاشر اور نبی التوبہ اور نبی الرحمۃ (کیونکہ توبہ اور رحمت کو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماپنے ساتھ لے کر آئے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1591]
