English Translation
Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The front part of the head and beard of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) had turned white; when he (peace be upon him) applied oil, the whiteness would not show, and his (peace be upon him) beard was very thick. A man said, "Was his (peace be upon him) blessed face like a sword, that is, long?" Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "No, his (peace be upon him) blessed face was like the sun and the moon, and round, and I saw the seal of prophethood on his (peace be upon him) shoulder like a pigeon's egg, and its color matched the color of his body."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے سر اور ڈاڑھی کا آگے کا حصہ سفید ہو گیا تھا جب آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمتیل ڈالتے تو سفیدی معلوم نہ ہوتی اور آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی ڈاڑھی بہت گھنی تھی۔ ایک شخص بولا کہ کیا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا چہرہ مبارک تلوار کی طرح یعنی لمبا تھا؟ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ نہیں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا چہرہ مبارک سورج اور چاند کی طرح اور گول تھا اور میں نے نبوت کی مہر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے کندھے پر دیکھی جیسے کبوتر کا انڈا ہوتا ہے اور اس کا رنگ جسم کے رنگ سے ملتا تھا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1559]
