English Translation
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "People are like mines of gold and silver. Those who were the best in the pre-Islamic period are the best in Islam, if they gain understanding of the religion."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: بیمار کی عیادت (اس کے مکان پر جا کر) کرنے والا جنت کے ایک باغ میں ہے، یہاں تک کہ وہ واپس لوٹے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1464]
