English Translation
Narrated al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him): I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) on a journey. He asked: "Do you have water?" I said: "Yes, I do." He dismounted from his riding animal and walked until he disappeared from sight in the darkness of the night. Then he came back, and I poured water for him from the bucket. He washed his face. He was wearing a woolen cloak, and it was difficult for him to bring his hands out of the sleeves, so he brought his hands out from underneath and washed them and wiped his head. Then I bent down to remove his leather socks, but he said: "Leave them. I put them on while in a state of purity," and he wiped over both of them.
Urdu Translation
سیدنا مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہمیں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے دریافت فرمایا کہ کیا تمہارے پاس پانی ہے؟ میں نے کہا جی ہاں ہے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسواری پر سے اترے اور چلے یہاں تک کہ اندھیری رات میں نظروں سے چھپ گئے۔ پھر لوٹ کر آئے تو میں نے ڈول سے پانی ڈالا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے منہ دھویا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اون کا جبہ پہن رکھا تھا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے لئے ہاتھ آستینوں سے باہر نکالنا مشکل ہو گیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے نیچے سے ہاتھوں کو باہر نکال کر دھویا اور سر پر مسح کیا۔ پھر میں، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے موزے اتارنے کیلئے جھکا، تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: رہنے دو۔ میں نے ان کو طہارت پر پہنا ہے اور ان دونوں پر بھی مسح کیا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 138]
