English Translation
Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I used to forbid you from using certain vessels, but no vessel makes anything lawful or unlawful. Every intoxicant is forbidden."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: میں نے تمہیں برتنوں سے منع کیا تھا، لیکن برتنوں سے کوئی چیز حلال یا حرام نہیں ہوتی اور ہر نشہ کرنے والی چیز حرام ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1274]
