English Translation
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "When a Muslim, or a believer (the narrator is in doubt as to which), performs ablution and washes his face, then every sin (minor sin) that he committed with his eyes comes out from his face along with the water, or with the last drop of water (which falls from the face — this too is the narrator's doubt). Then when he washes his hands, every sin that he committed with his hands comes out with the water, or with the last drop of water. Then when he washes his feet, every sin that he committed by walking with his feet comes out with the water, or with the last drop of water, until he comes out cleansed and pure of all sins."
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جب بندہ مسلمان یا مومن (یہ شک ہے راوی کا) وضو کرتا ہے اور منہ دھوتا ہے تو اس کے منہ سے وہ سب گناہ (صغیرہ) نکل جاتے ہیں جو اس نے آنکھوں سے کئے۔ پانی کے ساتھ یا آخری قطرہ کے ساتھ (جو منہ سے گرتا ہے یہ بھی شک ہے راوی کا)۔ پھر جب ہاتھ دھوتا ہے تو اس کے ہاتھوں میں سے ہر ایک گناہ جو ہاتھ سے کیا تھا، پانی کے ساتھ یا آخری قطرہ کے ساتھ نکل جاتا ہے۔ پھر جب پاؤں دھوتا ہے تو ہر ایک گناہ جس کو اس نے پاؤں سے چل کر کیا تھا، پانی کے ساتھ یا آخری قطرہ کے ساتھ نکل جاتا ہے یہاں تک کہ سب گناہوں سے پاک صاف ہو کر نکلتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 121]
