English Translation
Jundub ibn Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) says: In some battle the finger of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was wounded and blood came out, so he (peace be upon him) said, "You are nothing but a finger from which blood has come, and this hardship befell you in the way of Allah the Exalted." (The meaning is that so slight a hardship in the way of Allah the Exalted is of no consequence.)
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جندب بن سفیان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہکسی لڑائی میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی انگلی زخمی ہو گئی اور خون نکل آیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ نہیں ہے تو مگر ایک انگلی جس میں سے خون نکلا اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں تجھے یہ تکلیف ہوئی (مطلب یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی راہ میں اتنی سی تکلیف بےحقیقت ہے)[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1167]
