English Translation
Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) in a battle when he (peace be upon him) said: "There are some people in Madinah who, when you march or cross any valley, are with you (that is, they receive the same reward as you) — (these are people) who could not come with you because of illness." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1110]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ ایک لڑائی میں تھے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: مدینہ میں چند لوگ ایسے ہیں جب تم چلتے ہو یا کسی وادی کو طے کرتے ہو تو وہ تمہارے ساتھ ہیں (یعنی ان کو وہی ثواب ہوتا ہے جو تم کو ہوتا ہے) (یہ وہ لوگ ہیں) جو بیماری کی وجہ سے تمہارے ساتھ نہ آ سکے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1110]
