English Translation
Narrated Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) held a race for the trained horses from al-Hafya to Thaniyyat al-Wada (the distance between these two places is five or six miles, and some have said six or seven), and for the untrained horses he set the race from ath-Thaniyyah to the mosque of Banu Zurayq. And Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) was among those who competed in the horse race. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1108]

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ان تضمیر شدہ گھوڑوں کی حفیا سے ثنیۃ الوداع تک دوڑ کرائی (ان دونوں مقاموں میں پانچ یا چھ میل کا فاصلہ ہے اور بعض نے کہا کہ چھ یا سات میل کا) اور غیر تضمیر شدہ گھوڑوں دوڑ ثنیۃ سے بنی زریق کی مسجد تک مقرر کی اور سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ان لوگوں میں تھے جنہوں نے گھوڑ سواری میں مقابلہ کیا تھا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1108]
