English Translation
Narrated Abd ar-Rahman bin Shumasah al-Mahri: I was sitting with Maslamah bin Mukhallad, and Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) was also with him. Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "The Resurrection will not come except upon the worst of creation, and they will be worse than the people of the Days of Ignorance. Whatever they ask Allah the Exalted for, Allah the Exalted will give them." While they were thus, Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) came, and Maslamah said to him, "O Uqbah! Did you hear what Abdullah says?" Uqbah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "He knows more than I, but I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'A group or a party of my nation will always fight by the command of Allah the Exalted and remain victorious over their enemy; whoever opposes them will not be able to harm them, until the Resurrection comes, and they will be in that same state.'" Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Indeed (the Prophet, peace be upon him, said so); then Allah the Exalted will send a wind having the scent of musk, and it will feel upon the body like silk, and it will not leave anyone in whose heart there is faith even the weight of a grain but that death will come to it. After that, all the wicked (disbelievers) will remain, and upon them will the Resurrection come." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1096]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن شماسہ مہری کہتے ہیں کہمیں مسلمہ بن مخلد کے پاس بیٹھا تھا اور ان کے پاس سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ بھی تھے۔ عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ قیامت قائم نہ ہو گی مگر بدترین مخلوق پر اور وہ بدتر ہوں گے جاہلیت والوں سے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ سے جس بات کی دعا کریں گے اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو دیدے گا۔ وہ اسی حال میں تھے کہ سیدنا عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو مسلمہ نے ان سے کہا کہ اے عقبہ! تم نے سنا کہ عبداللہ کیا کہتے ہیں؟ عقبہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ وہ مجھ سے زیادہ جانتے ہیں، لیکن میں نے تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا ہے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ میری امت کا ایک گروہ یا ایک جماعت ہمیشہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے حکم پر لڑتی رہے گی، اور اپنے دشمن پر غالب رہے گی جو کوئی ان کی مخالفت کرے گا ان کو نقصان نہ پہنچا سکے گا، یہاں تک کہ قیامت آ جائے گی اور وہ اسی حال میں ہوں گے۔ سیدنا عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ بیشک (نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایسا فرمایا) پھر اللہ تعالیٰ ایک ہوا بھیجے گا جس میں مشک کی سی بو ہو گی اور ریشم کی طرح بدن پر لگے گی، وہ کسی شخص کو نہ چھوڑے گی جس کے دل میں ایک دانے کے برابر بھی ایمان ہو گا مگر اس کو موت آ جائے گی۔ اس کے بعد سب برے (کافر) لوگ رہ جائیں گے، انہی پر قیامت قائم ہو گی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1096]
