English Translation
Narrated Abu Shurayh al-Khuza'i (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Hospitality is for three days, and the special hospitality (in which one takes trouble) is for one day and one night. It is not permissible for a Muslim to stay with his brother until he causes him to sin." The Companions said, "O Messenger of Allah! How would he cause him to sin?" He (peace be upon him) said: "By staying with him when he has nothing left to feed him." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1065]
Urdu Translation
سیدنا ابوشریح خزاعی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: مہمانی تین دن تک ہے اور مہمان نوازی میں تکلف ایک دن ایک رات تک چاہئے اور کسی مسلمان کو درست نہیں کہ اپنے بھائی کے پاس ٹھہرا رہے، یہاں تک کہ اس کو گناہ میں ڈالے۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ! اس کو کس طرح گناہ میں ڈالے گا؟ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اس کے پاس ٹھہرا رہے اور اس کے پاس کھلانے کے لئے کچھ نہ ہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1065]
