English Translation
It is narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) cut off the hand of a thief for the theft of a shield whose value was three dirhams. [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1044]

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے سپر کی چوری پر جس کی قیمت تین درہم تھی، ایک چور کا ہاتھ کاٹا تھا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1044]
