Arabic (Original)
وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، كَانَ يُصَلِّي لَهُمْ فَيُكَبِّرُ كُلَّمَا خَفَضَ وَرَفَعَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَشْبَهُكُمْ صَلاَةً بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم .
English Translation
And Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, he said: I read before Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salama ibn Abd al-Rahman, who narrated that Hadrat Abu Hurayra (may Allah be well pleased with him) was leading them in prayer and would say the takbir whenever he bent down and raised up. When he turned from the prayer (with the salam), he said: By Allah, I am the most similar among you in prayer to the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him).
Urdu Translation
اور ہم سے یحییٰ بن یحییٰ نے حدیث بیان کی، کہا: میں نے مالک کو ابن شہاب سے پڑھ کر سنایا، انہوں نے ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن سے روایت کی کہ حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ انہیں نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، تو جب بھی جھکتے اور (سر) اٹھاتے تکبیر کہتے، پھر جب سلام پھیرا تو فرمایا: اللہ کی قسم! میں نماز میں تم سب کی نسبت رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے زیادہ مشابہت رکھتا ہوں۔
