وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، قَالَ هَذَا مَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ أَحَادِيثَ مِنْهَا وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " كَانَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ يَغْتَسِلُونَ عُرَاةً يَنْظُرُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى سَوْأَةِ بَعْضٍ وَكَانَ مُوسَى - عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ - يَغْتَسِلُ وَحْدَهُ فَقَالُوا وَاللَّهِ مَا يَمْنَعُ مُوسَى أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ مَعَنَا إِلاَّ أَنَّهُ آدَرُ - قَالَ - فَذَهَبَ مَرَّةً يَغْتَسِلُ فَوَضَعَ ثَوْبَهُ عَلَى حَجَرٍ فَفَرَّ الْحَجَرُ بِثَوْبِهِ - قَالَ - فَجَمَحَ مُوسَى بِإِثْرِهِ يَقُولُ ثَوْبِي حَجَرُ ثَوْبِي حَجَرُ . حَتَّى نَظَرَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَى سَوْأَةِ مُوسَى قَالُوا وَاللَّهِ مَا بِمُوسَى مِنْ بَأْسٍ . فَقَامَ الْحَجَرُ حَتَّى نُظِرَ إِلَيْهِ - قَالَ - فَأَخَذَ ثَوْبَهُ فَطَفِقَ بِالْحَجَرِ ضَرْبًا " . قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَاللَّهِ إِنَّهُ بِالْحَجَرِ نَدَبٌ سِتَّةٌ أَوْ سَبْعَةٌ ضَرْبُ مُوسَى بِالْحَجَرِ .
English Translation
Amongst the traditions narrated from Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the authority of Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him), the one is that Banu Isra'il used to take a bath naked, and they looked at the private parts of one another. Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), however, took a bath alone (in privacy); and they said (tauntingly): By Allah, nothing prohibits Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) to take a bath along with us, but scrotal hernia. He (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) once went for a bath and placed his clothes on a stone and the stone moved on with his clothes. Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) ran after it saying: O stone, my clothes, O stone, my clothes, until Banu Isra'il had the chance to see the private parts of Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), and said: By Allah, Musa does not suffer from any ailment. The stone then stopped, till Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) had been seen by them, and he then took hold of his clothes and struck the stone.' Hadrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: By Allah, there are the marks of six or seven strokes made by Musa (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the stone.
Urdu Translation
ہمام بن منبہ سے روایت ہے: کہا: یہ احادیث ہیں جو حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے ہمیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے (نقل کرتے ہوئے) سنائیں، انہوں نے متعدد احادیث بیان کیں ان میں سے ایک یہ ہے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''بنی اسرائیل بے لباس ہو کر، اس طرح نہاتے تھے کہ ایک دوسرے کا ستر دیکھ رہے ہوتے اور موسیٰ علیہ السلام اکیلے نہایا کرتے تھے۔ بنی اسرائیل کہنے لگے: اللہ کی قسم! موسیٰ علیہ السلام ہمارے ساتھ محض اس لیے نہیں نہاتے کہ ان کے خصیتیں پھولے ہوئے ہیں۔'' آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''موسیٰ علیہ السلام ایک دفعہ نہانے کے لیے گئے تو اپنے کپڑے ایک پتھر پر رکھ دیے، پتھر آپ کے کپڑے لے کر بھاگ کھڑا ہوا، موسیٰ علیہ السلام اس کے پیچھے یہ کہتے ہوئے سر پٹ دوڑ پڑے: اے پتھر! میرے کپڑے، اے پتھر! میرے کپڑے، یہاں تک کہ بنی اسرائیل نے موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے ستر کو دیکھ لیا اور کہنے لگے: اللہ کی قسم! موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو تو کوئی بیماری نہیں ہے، جب موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو دیکھ لیا گیا تو پتھر ٹھہر گیا، موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے اپنے کپڑے پہنے اور پتھر کو مارنے لگے۔'' حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! پتھر پر چھ یا سات نشان تھے، یہ پتھر کو موسیٰ علیہ السلام کی مار تھی۔
