Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَانْتَهَى إِلَى سُبَاطَةِ قَوْمٍ فَبَالَ قَائِمًا فَتَنَحَّيْتُ فَقَالَ " ادْنُهْ " . فَدَنَوْتُ حَتَّى قُمْتُ عِنْدَ عَقِبَيْهِ فَتَوَضَّأَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ .
English Translation
Hadrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported: I was with the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when he (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) came to the dumping ground of filth belonging to a particular tribe. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) urinated while standing, and I went aside. He (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) asked me to come near him and I went so near to him that I stood behind his heels. He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) then performed ablution and wiped over his socks.
Urdu Translation
اعمش نے شقیق سے اور انہوں نے حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھا، آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ایک خاندان کے کوڑا پھینکنے کی جگہ پر تشریف لائے اور کھڑے ہو کر پیشاب فرمایا تو میں دور ہٹ گیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''قریب آ جاؤ۔'' میں قریب ہو کر (دوسری طرف رخ کر کے) آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پیچھے کھڑا ہو گیا (فراغت کے بعد) آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے وضو فرمایا اور موزوں پر مسح فرمایا۔
