Arabic (Original)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيْنَ أَبِي قَالَ " فِي النَّارِ " . فَلَمَّا قَفَّى دَعَاهُ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ أَبِي وَأَبَاكَ فِي النَّارِ " .
English Translation
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported: Verily, a person submitted: 'O Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), where is my father?' He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: '(He) is in the Fire.' When he turned away, he (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) called him and stated: 'Verily my father and your father are in the Fire.'
Urdu Translation
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے پوچھا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! میرا باپ کہاں ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : ’’ آگ میں ۔ ‘ ‘ پھر جب وہ پلٹ گیا توآپ نے اسے بلا کر فرمایا : ’’ بلاشبہ میراباپ اور تمہارا باپ آگ میں ہیں ۔ ‘ ‘
