Arabic (Original)
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَيَعْقُوبُ الدَّوْرَقِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ " لاَ يَزَالُ النَّاسُ " . بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الإِسْنَادِ وَلَكِنْ قَدْ قَالَ فِي آخِرِ الْحَدِيثِ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ .
English Translation
Isma'il ibn Ulayyah narrated from Ayyub, from Muhammad, that Hadrat Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: People will constantly question... The rest of the hadith is the same as that transmitted by Abd al-Warith, except that he did not mention the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) in the chain, but he said at the end: Allah and His Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) spoke the truth.
Urdu Translation
اسماعیل بن علیہ نے ایوب سے، انہوں نے محمد سے روایت کی کہ حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نے کہا: لوگ ہمیشہ سوال کرتے رہیں گے.... باقی حدیث عبد الوارث کی حدیث کے مانند ہے۔ تاہم انہوں نے سند میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کا ذکر نہیں کیا، لیکن آخر میں یہ کہا ہے: اللہ اور اس کے رسول صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے سچ فرمایا۔
